We all know how competitive Kobe is on the court. To put it bluntly, he hates losing. His competitiveness didn’t begin in the pros either, he’s probably had this mentality the second he came out the womb. Which is exactly why the the this colorway happens to be inspired by one of Kobe's longtime rivals from back in High School. During his Lower Merion High School days, one of Kobe’s biggest rivals were the Chester Clippers and, you guessed it, the Chester Clippers used to rock these colors. The upper comes in a Total Orange and Laser Orange Flyknit construction, with the lighter color seen on the lateral side and the darker color coming in the medial side. The toebox comes in a tumbled grey and the midsole comes in all white. Contrasting the midsole is the Laser Orange translucent outsole.
