Mark “Gonz” Gonzales is one of the most influential and important skateboarders of all time. Presented in “Grey Three/Core Black/Shadow Navy,” this UltraBOOST DNA comprises a full Primeknit upper and the signature full-length BOOST sole unit — but the running shoe’s familiarities stop there. Gonz adds his archetype “Shmoo” graphic across the Primeknit, intersecting this with a reflective thread for a design that’s quintessentially Gonz, injected with fun all over. The design is almost camouflage-esque, while a semi-translucent grey Three Stripe-incorporating lace cage covers the busy design. Elsewhere, more “Shmoo” graphics adorn the tongue tab, while “UltraBOOST” branding appears on the heel cage as expected. Here, it’s tinted black, just like the full-length BOOST midsole that’s lined with a Continental outsole for added grip.
