While at first glance the XR1 may seem no different from this year’s earlier NMD in “Triple White,” the Primeknit truly makes all the difference. This sneaker also adds the flat-knit material in place of the caged upper, wrought in an allover glitch pattern and strengthened with tonal overlays. But it’s not all Primeknit, as the addition of a plush leather material on the heel patch makes for a subtle contrast in texture. The sneaker is finished off with equally subtle tonal branding details, including an inspired print coming out of the heel.
